I was a music major, right? Right. But, I never considered myself one of those artsy-fartsy-my-life-is-about-music-and-how-it-feeds-my-soul kind of person. I was just good at it and it made sense to go to college for it. I studied keys, modes, composers, eras, tempos, Italian (a little), vocals, modulations, theory, etc. I practiced for hundreds of hours, touching [...] The hit series “24″ has swept the nation for years now and JT and I have never jumped on the broom…until this summer. For whatever reason, I got the hankerin’ to try watching it again. We tried a few years ago and was very turned off by the first few episodes. Everyone who’s any kind of [...] I remember riding along in the truck between my sister and her friend, Kristie when “With or Without You” came on the radio. I was amazed to watch Kristie sing every word with the actions that went with Bono’s music video. I specifically remember when he held her hands together when he sang, “My hands [...] My baby has been cutting more teeth. It’s not very fun for her…or her momma. Cranky little toot. No appetite. Doesn’t sleep well. Rubs her ears and sometimes even cries when she eats. Oh, it makes me sad for her. But, the poor darlin’ has to go through it in order to get the teeth. They cut [...] I mean really, where else can you do dishes and then eat a Symphony bar while reading The Twitter? Who else gets to teach their middle child to read while the oldest writes a story about a bunny rabbit who planted carrots and got cabbages instead? I find it quite fascinating that I can do “Ploga” and [...] I WonderWhat will my kids do with Jesus when they grow up? I’d been simmering all day and was so glad when Pastor JT called and said he had arranged a sitter and we were going out. I wasn’t angry or ready to fight, I just had some things I needed to get off my chest and there could be [...] I’m sitting here looking at my keyboard and, oh my, it needs to go through the wash. I’m not sure how many different meals are tucked away behind “a-s-d-f-j-k-l-;” but there is something rather gross about all these keys! I think I’m going to have to pop them off, clean underneath them, and then use [...] Here we are people, just two days before Christmas. Yep, I said two because this is the 23rd and I wanted to make sure this was up and running before tomorrow so y’all could post your pics and then go on your Merry way Christmas Eve.
