Okay, the title of this blog post should make you giggle only because if you know anything about me, you might know that “money saving tips” NEVER shows up on this blog. For that stuff, you can go to Christi’s web site. Suriusly. I mean, I can cut a coupon with the best of them, use [...] I decided to make a little money. I mean, I have a lot of little nick-nacks and junk that surely other people would want to purchase. Honestly, who doesn’t want a little snowman mini-cookie jar that would only fit about four Oreo’s? What about a sweet, nearly new copy of Top Gun on VHS? Come on, [...] I took the middle section out of my Sunday paper today in hopes of saving hundreds of dollars this week at the grocery store. I plopped open all the fabulous little mini-newspapers full of coupons and looked anxiously through them for all the goodies. I had my scissors at the ready, a keen look in [...] It’s not a good thing when I have a little extra cash because, well, I like to spend it. On Friday, Hubs and I got our tax return. After a few pay-downs of some debt, we have some money to spend and, well, I tend to want to run right out and buy something. Now, before you think this is going to be some sort of man-bash, let me clear the air (no pun inteded, you’ll see why) and say that the men were totally involved in this converstation both agreeing [...] I usually enjoy going to the grocery store by myself (and Monkey) and yesterday was no exception, except that there was an exception. Now that it’s fall and it’s cold enough for all of us Okies to turn on our heaters, there is a little thing we have to deal with—friction. You know what I mean: [...] Sorry it’s late y’all, but I’m in Big D right now seeing my brother. Of course, we are headed to IKEA today to spend some of the churches money on office stuff. To be honest, I’ve never really liked the ring of a phone.
